The usual route to challenge a rejection
Most disputes follow these steps, in this order. We help you prepare and file at each one.
Insurer's Grievance Officer
First, a written complaint to the insurance company.
IRDAI Bima Bharosa
If the insurer does not resolve it: bimabharosa.irdai.gov.in or toll-free 155255.
Insurance Ombudsman
If the insurer rejects the complaint or does not reply in 30 days. Within 1 year, free of cost, for claims up to ₹50 lakh.
Consumer Commission
If the matter is still not resolved.
₹499 to start, and a success fee only if you get money
You pay ₹499 online when you register your case, and our team reviews your documents. If we decide not to take up your case, ₹400 is refunded and ₹99 is kept for the review. If we take it up, you pay a success fee only when money is received: 15% of the amount received (18% if it needs a consumer commission case), plus GST once we are GST registered, with the ₹499 adjusted. Everything is written in the service agreement you accept before paying.
